After designing their site 3 years ago, Abercrombie and Kent returned to Sequence for a new challenge. A&K wanted to implement functionality into their site that would allow users to create custom itineraries which they can send off as enquiries. I was tasked with solving this problem.

After multiple wireframes, internal testing sessions and client presentations we decided on a direction. I created a concept where users can save various sitewide holiday items to a custom created wishlist. Inside these wishlist’s users can rearrange and leave notes on those saved items. Once the user is happy with their wishlist they can proceed to send it off as an enquiry where a A&K agent will pick it up and begin crafting the perfect itinerary.

To increase the usability we made sure that the user could access and view the wishlists no matter where they were on the site. Interaction design played a huge part as we wanted the wishlists to be subtle but obvious. I worked with the developers daily to ensure that all the interactions were fluid and responsive.
