I was tasked with designing a booking journey for Dundonald Links, a luxury golf course based in Ayrshire, Scotland. To achieve the best usability results it was decided that the booking journey would be implemented into the client's current site. This meant that my job was to not only to create an easy to use experience but one that also blended in seamlessly.

The project started with a brief workshop to outline the clients requirements. At this stage it was also agreed that the booking journey would be powered by one of Inspiretec’s internal products, Travelink. This allowed me to constantly check in and work with the development team to ensure that the journey’s functionality and vision was feasible. I began by presenting a range of low level wireframes to the client to ensure it met all their needs. Once signed off I then started production on the high level visuals.

The outcome was a clean and simple journey that held a high level of functionality across different devices. The journey was also built to be future-proof allowing the client to more accommodation in the future without worrying about users becoming lost in a magnitude of results.
