Inspiretec (Sequence’s parent company) has a range of digital products crafted specifically for the travel industry. The digital product team approached me with a new product concept and tasked me with bringing it to life. The product brings all the needs of a travel agent to one place. From the product agents can search, quote and book packages, flights and accommodation as well as keep track of any pre and post booking management tasks.

We began by holding an internal workshop with all the different teams that would be working on the project. The workshop helped provide clarity on what is feasible as well as opening up questions on how far we could push this product. I then went away and started crafting a range of wireframes and user flows. Once complete we ran another workshop to achieve sign off which then allowed me to start working on the visuals.

The outcome was a minimal and clear interface with information at the fore-front. I designed the interface around data columns meaning that the key information was always present to the agent. I created a prototype which I then presented to the company head. The reception was positive and development was given the go ahead.
